We help athletes to feel their best and be their best

At its best, taking part in high performance sport can be exciting, rewarding and stimulating. It can open the door to ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences and opportunities. The rewards can be sky high!

Unfortunately, it can also be disappointing, frustrating and demoralising. It can be difficult to manage disappointments with results, playing time or contract decisions. It can be difficult to manage uncertainty regarding future opportunities, to bounce back from setbacks and disappointments, to manage pressure to perform, or to balance sport with other responsibilities and commitments.

These challenges can also be experienced by those working in high performance sport or parenting athletes – and staff and parents can also experience their own specific challenges.

We're here to help athletes to challenge themselves and reach their performance peak.

Dr Jenny Weall has worked with athletes since 2017, and has now expanded her practice, founding Blue Tiger Psychology Group in May 2025 in order to offer a broader range of services to a wider range of individuals.

Blue Tiger Psychology Group is now a practice with a team of experienced HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologists, who all undertake additional and ongoing training in working with high performers.

We have demonstrated competence in helping athletes and others shift from surviving to thriving, mastering the types of challenges outlined above, and enjoying their sport and the opportunities it affords them to challenge themselves and reach their performance peak.
