Our Tiger Team

Dr Naomi Bright
Clinical Psychologist
Blue Tiger Psychology Group
As an athlete I understand the highs and lows that come with taking your sport seriously, and I’d like to support you to become the best version of yourself. My tiger moments have been any time that I have proved to myself that I can do hard things whether it was my first triathlon, completing my Clinical Psychology doctorate or leaving behind situations that didn’t feel good for me. When I’m not working, I can usually be found swimming, biking and running, travelling, reading or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including veterans, refugees, asylum seekers, and emergency services personnel, many of whom have faced significant trauma. In my current part time NHS role, I provide support to hospital staff, who work in high-stress environments. This wide range of experience has deepened my understanding of trauma, burnout, and the emotional toll of high-pressure roles and working in competitive environments.
I work with people over the age of 17. My focus is to create a space where you feel supported and understood, no matter what you are going through. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) which emphasises wisdom, courage and commitment particularly when we’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
If you’re wondering whether therapy might be right for you, or if you have any questions about how I can help you please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
