My tiger energy developed within me from a young age as I grew up with a rare condition affecting the growth of my shoulder bones, limiting my mobility. As I moved through my teenage years, this became increasingly painful and disrupted daily life – from learning to drive and playing sport to getting dressed. Many doctors initially dismissed my symptoms as “growing pains” until, in my early twenties, my family found a surgeon who could help.

Those years gave me an intense early education in making space for discomfort and

challenge. I developed personal grit and resilience before I had the language to

name it – to keep articulating the problem and taking steps to influence what was in

my control. I was lucky to be surrounded by love and support along the way. I didn’t know it at the time, but that experience shaped the psychologist I would become. That spirit – of openness, compassion and commitment to doing hard things – is the tiger energy I now bring into my practice.

I understand my work, and much of life, through the lens of psychological flexibility and the ACT model. ACT recognises both the uniqueness of our individual minds and the shared struggles rooted in our evolutionary inheritance – minds that are wired to get stuck. I support people to get unstuck, reconnect with what matters, and move toward their potential.

I have enjoyed working with athletes since 2017 and have developed my background in applying psychology with proven coaching methods to help high-performing individuals to both understand and retrain their minds in the direction they need. I really enjoy working to understand exactly what is blocking progress for people, targeting these barriers using science-backed methods and releasing momentum to move forward towards their goals. I regularly incorporate EMDR as a method that maximises change and progress.

I’m also a mum to two high-energy little people and part of a family who’s almost always outdoors, happiest being in the beauty of the countryside or by the coast – usually hunting for sea glass! I like challenging myself through strength training and running, developing my cooking skills and going on adventures.
