Our Tiger Team

Sarah Kelly
Clinical Psychologist
Blue Tiger Psychology Group
My career as a qualified Clinical Psychologist began in 2005, and since then I have worked across a variety of adult mental health and physical health services within the NHS. I have developed a particular interest in the psychological effects of injury, life-threatening illness, and long-term physical health conditions. In my clinical work, I explore the complex relationship between physical health and emotional wellbeing with clients, offering meaningful support and an individual treatment plan. I have also found it highly rewarding to provide consultation and reflective spaces for teams and colleagues from non-psychology backgrounds, the purpose being to enhance client care and bolster team cohesion amongst staff working in high-stress medical environments.
Alongside my clinical work, running has always been an important part of my life. In 2016, I brought these two passions together by completing an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology. During this time, I also achieved a personal milestone by completing my first marathon (my Tiger moment!). The MSc provided me with valuable knowledge and skills to support athletes, coaches, and their wider support networks, as well as informing my own development.
My combined experience in clinical psychology and sport and exercise allows me to apply transferable skills across both therapeutic and performance settings. I take a flexible approach in my work, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My aim is to create a supportive space where individuals feel heard and understood, and to provide treatment that reflects unique needs.
I can offer remote therapy and remote clinical supervision and am available for sessions on Wednesday 9.30am-4pm and Friday 9am-1pm.
My fee for self-funding clients is £130 per hour, and I can accept clients funded by Bupa, AXA Health, AVIVA and VitalityHealth.
